They'll print your name on the tickets and you need ID that corresponds to that name to gain entry.

They use a similar system for Croke Park area resident tickets.

I was sure there would be an option to change the name on the ticket later on if someone genuinely could not go.

Similar to "Delivery address different from billing address"


I'd hazard that a corresponding surname would get you some wiggle room.

Whether or not they'll let you in with it is totally dependant on who is putting them on. M.. security is generally much nicer and lenient that A.... security, A. security are absolute wankers. If it's event staff and not seciruty checking your tickets you'll probably be grand, as most people doing that work don't really give a shit. I speak from experience.
