do normal cheap earplugs do much or do they do feck all? we use ear defenders when we practice...ya know the big ear muff things that airplane traffic controllers use...we look like friggin morans but tis worth it.


i try and wear ear plugs at gigs but if you sing in a band its hard to wear them when you play....all i can hear is my voice in my head and nothing else.

but yeah, whenever i use earplugs at practice they always loosen/fall out because of how my ears move when i do vocals...that sounds weird but y'know the way, when you're screaming your whole face moves.

yeah i got confused with the code numbers... mine are ER 20, non-customized. guess that was the problem. i'd imagine ER 25's are molded to the ear, hence no online ordering. sorry there.
this also might mean they'll fall out if other stuff does, tho i find if you insert them properly they go pretty far in and sit tight.

hope they work out for you ian. be careful when cleaning them cos you have to take them apart, water in the diaphragm bit fucks them up. they're easy to drop between floorboards at that point...
