This email I received might be somewhat relevant to some of you maybe

Hi everyone.

We have renamed the LeinsterFreecycle group to be FreecycleDublin.
This has been in the works for over a year now, along with other
things that will hopefully be happening within the next year as well.
The change is due to the fact that when I started LeinsterFreecycle,
there were no other groups in Ireland. A Dublin group, at that time,
wouldn't be approved, so I went one step larger. Now that we've had
such a roaring success of Freecycle in Ireland (2 new groups this
week!), it's time to have the other groups that are in the Leinster
area come out from under the Leinster umbrella and flourish the way
you've all helped Leinster grow.

There's no major differences between what was Leinster and what is now
Dublin. We do ask that if you are in the area of one of the other
more local groups, please, USE THAT GROUP. Help it blossom. The
groups in Leinster are:

spirit, and same ethos: Keep it free!

any plumbers out there wanna donate some time and expertise to help out seomra spraoi? our water went off last wednesday evening and we can't figure out what the problem is. we figure it's a problem within the building as the guy downstairs still has water. it's pretty crucial to the running of the centre so if anyone can spare the time it would be very appreciated.

seomra spraoi is a project set up around two years ago to provide a non-commercial space for group meetings, film screenings, political organisation, library, workshops, parties, free shops and various other events. it is run by a collective on a volunteer basis and is non-profit. we have been resident at 6 lower ormond quay for the last seven months and have had loads of different events and people visit the space.

anyone want some carpet? i've got some scraps, could be useful for small rooms or for under drums or something.. its all brand new, no stains or anything.

183cm x 140cm - orange/brown, deepish pile
216cm x 137cm - orange/brown, same stuff
147cm x 136cm - dark brown and black striped, good quality

and one piece of light beige officey ribbed carpet, that i don't have the dimensions of, but its bigger than all the others, i guess maybe 2meters x 2 meters, but its got a few stains.
