they satisfy the 'more members than is reasonable' criterion - 9 guitarists in some line-ups, including one called 'he who is named'. have gone on to various better known bands (zumpano, new pornographers, destroyer...). their 'hit songs for girls' cd is a good place to start but if yr looking for 'bushpilot' (best song ever), it's only on that heavy w/puppy cd single.

yup, that's bushpilot. on the 'heavy with puppy' 2 track 7" and 5 track cd. still available from www.scratchrecords.com as are both of their albums.
