Ah, NSBM. The metal equivalent of capitalist punk.
There are people who see Nationalist Socialist Black Metal as a valid form of expression, since black metal is in itself based on hate and violence. I don't agree. As far as I'm concerned, a few bands started using this Nazi crap when Satanism didn't seem evil enough any more. It's out of sync with the original principles of black metal, which are basically the same sort of thing punk was in the mid-70s (I'll be fucking lynched for saying that!).

A recurring theme in a lot of black metal is the destruction of ancient European cultures by the encroachment of Christianity, but I don't believe that this should spill over into outright nationalism, and especially not beyond that. Black metal is mostly about the occult, war, etc etc, and politics have no place in it in my view.

jesus just spent 15 mins writting a big post about the mindlessness of racism and invited those who held such views to come out and discuss it in a nice manor (hoping to get through to them rather than attack them) but i couldnt log into m.i. Anybody care to do so?
there is probably a lot of young impresionable lives about to be wasted by stupid throw away comments by ignorant arseholes... its really annoying watching people share such rediculous beliefs just to fit in or because they're brainwashed into thinking so. somebody shud get through to these people and try and talk sense into them.
