I think this depends very much on the confidence of the guy and the girl. I went out with a guy exactly the same height as me for a while and it was awful. Any time I wore the tiniest bit of a heel or appeared remotely taller than him he'd start scowling and acting weird. It made me paranoid and I almost started feeling that I should slouch. Horrible.

But a friend of mine is nearly 6' and her husband of 10 years is about 5'4. It doesn't bother either of them and after a while nobody else seems to notice either.

i went out with a dude who was the same height as me and i spent the 4 years wearing flats cos it made him self concious when i did wear heels..

now the boy is 6ft somethin and when we first started going out together i had pains in my legs from having to stand on my tippy toes to kiss him..now however my legs are perfectly fine it..i think my muscles stretched themselves..
