great great band... both (were there more than 2?) albums were really cool.
very nicely understated psychy pop.. Raze single is amazing

Even though I loved Deserters' Songs at the time, you could kind of tell it was the beginning of the end... And I'm kind of glad they never got as big as the Flaming Lips, cause even though the FLs also got less interesting as they got bigger, at least they seemed to have some kind of natural evolution to the change to their sound. And they're still great live. But MR just seem to have lost it.

Was at Rock Garden, MF and Olympia, enjoyed all of them but the Olympia gig was full of eejits.

Close call between Boces and Yerself, the latter wins by a nose-hair.
