the iRA and the Bank Robbery (1 Viewer)

Y'know, it occurs to me that a real big issue here is that Sinn Féin have lost what they refer to in Hollywood political thrillers as 'Plausible Deniability'.

i give up on the lot of ye's. No one fecken question of mine has been answered, and instead Im fed shit about canvessors. as i say, if a postman does something bad and hes in the gAA, doesnt mean the GAA condones the bad thing. really, think a bit. actually, dont think. wallow in your ignorance, it's really makes no odds

...the North. Really who gives a shit. Not me anyway. the whole "political" and "sectarian" crap went out the window years ago. Its all about drugs..its all about money and all about crontrol of criminal activity. Sin fein are up to their necks in it. Everyone knows that..there are plenty of modern texts you can check out in the library and newpaper archives to support any amount of arguments. Go read. The whole thing is just... !zed now. The average punter in belfast is fed up with the "peace process". Me doubly so. Get on with it. No guns, no criminal activity and a big chat that ends with some fucking results for a change please.

you obviously dont live on the same planet asme. you mentioed the north? you on about northern spain or somewhere? If you dont give a crap, stay out of the thread.

so what if i live in carlow? I was born in omagh, my family and relatives all live there and I visit there quite often. just get away from the fact you are supporting claims that have no backing or proof. whos the fool ? give me something to support your claims.

i waste my time posting in here. talking to a wall with smart answers

what's interesting about this whole affair is how the press (in particular, the irish independent) have shown a side that they normally keep under wraps, one which is pretty terrified of sinn fein and their resurgent popularity. (this is not to say that i think sinn fein should be popular, or that i agree with them: i don't.)

today's independent has the headline "garda money-trail arrests pile pressure on sinn fein".

now, that's technically true. but the pressure in a public scandal comes from the press, and therefore the indo's headline is the pressure that it claims to refer to. the headline may as well say 'irish independent piles pressure on sinn fein'.

this is in keeping with the historical record of the independent, which (ironically enough considering the name of the paper) has always condemned any form of nationalism that implies actual independence, especially any form of nationalism with socialist tendencies.

irish independent editorial, 4th may 1916 (which also called for the execution of james connolly):

"no terms of denunciation that pen could indict would be too strong to apply to those responsible for the insane and criminal rising of last week... "

irish independent editorial, 18th february 2005:

[font=Verdana, Arial]"these are dark days for sinn fein. consequently, they are bright days for democracy. the pressure on sinn fein to decide whether or not it wishes to be a truly democratic party is growing inexorably and, perhaps, irresistibly..."

90 years of propaganda...

!bing do the research yourself. All the answers to the silly questions you are asking are there.off you pop.

hey smartarse - you tell me then what happened with the spy ring. did it exist? if so how come no one was charged with anything? The answers to that arent in this thread. also explain why when you cant answer something you have to talk the big mouth talk? thats pointless and gets no one anywhere

Are you in complete denial that Sinn Fein are knee-deep in criminal activity in Northern Ireland? Of course they are! As are lots of other groups in the country. The lesson? They are all a bunch of wankers.
