Bought "Thunder Lightening Strike" at the weekend.

What a great album!

Noisy, happy, shouty, in a double-dutch skipping kind of way.
Hurray for that kind of thing...

I heard it was good, Scottish mate of mine encountered their music in NY last month. I couldn't take their name seriously though, so didn't look 'em up. They sound like a Christian Youth band or something.

I'm not sure about this record. Listened to it a couple of times and a few tunes are OK, but there is something that I can't really put my finger on, I just don't like it.

All seems a bit contrived, and a bit 'wacky'.

It's pretty awful... but the chorus is amazing, funniest thing I've heard in years. I imagine with a few beers on board it would become the Greatest Song Ever.

Hmmm, there is something about the recording that makes it sound like you're listening to it second hand, sitting beside somebody on the bus.

But still, I like it, 'specially the closing "Everybodys a VIP to Somebody"

I am also in the "Not really feeling it" camp. Entire thing kinda fizzles out real quickly, like they collectively shot their load in the second song, and spent the rest of the album just trying to get to sleep.
