STRICTLY HANDBAG
EVERY FRIDAY
THE LEFT BANK
15/16 Rear Stephen’s St, Sligo
LAUNCH NIGHT FRIDAY FEBRUARY 3rd
Admission Free before 11pm, €5 after
10PM 'TIL LATE
Ireland's longest running Club Night, STRICTLY HANDBAG kicks off a new Friday night residency in The Left Bank in Sligo Town on February 3rd. Taking a weekly jaunt from its Dublin home, RíRá, we hope to recreate the fun and feelgood factor that has seen the club running for nearly 12 years in the Capital.
Our infectious mix of all things 80’s - electro, New Wave, Indie and Disco will provide music with words for your dancing pleasure. What initially started off as a bet that a club couldn’t be filled on a Monday night, soon became an institution in the city – last October Strictly Handbag celebrated it’s 11th Birthday with an Exclusive DJ set from Darkness Bass Player, Frankie Poullian. Down thru the years all that’s changed has been the venue, it moved from The Kitchen Nightclub to the two room venue, RiRa after 18 months and hasn’t missed a beat since. With Dublin residents Mark Kelly and Scott McNaughton kicking off proceedings, we hope that we can have as much fun in The Left Bank as we’ve been having in RiRa for the last decade!
And, eh, Don’t forget your Handbag!
