Sounds like she was in a bad way, going to bed with a bucket next to the bed and ending up in hospital from the drink

I actually enjoyed not drinking alcohol anymore. It was very interesting watching all my friends getting inebriated and their mannerisms. One in particular struggled with his balance as he got more pissed. The rubbish that they talked put me on a different planet. Never did I realise that I had spent years of my life talking similar rubbish. Waking up with a cool fresh head, not gasping for water and my tongue not feeling as rough as a dog's bottom was also very pleasant.
