Have you ever held a sword? When you are swinging one around, it's pretty common to have your hand come into contact with the cross-guard, especially if someone hits the cross-guard with a downward slash (i.e., forcing it into your hand/fingers).

The problem here is that the cross-guard is a lightsaber beam that can cut through anything, including your hand.

The problem here is that you are not a Jedi or a Sith and don't know what the fuck you are talking about. But ignoring that fact, the crossguard is still present and the lightsabre beams coming from it would not contact the wielders hand even if they were to slide up the hilt.

Some people complain loudly about pretty much everything about Star Wars.
I thought that gif was celebrating the wowness of that clip. But I'm like a lapsed Star Wars fan and don't care enough to argue. I only give a shit about the first two films.
