Ha, I completely missed the fact it was brian and not brain. I did see a neuroscience article where the author, Brian, was listed as Brain.

can you isolate (physical) pain signals, or detect them? I was joking at my support group at the weekend that i wanted to hook up an LED as indicator of my condition. maybe you know how to do this.
