And I decided it would be a good idea to just throw in some (lots of) washing up liquid into the little box and switch it on.
Bad idea
Suds ALL OVER the kitchen floor and all over the inside of the splish splosher. I cleaned up all the suds and stuff...
Is it broken it or will it survive?

The dishes didn't even clean properly.
fuckssake

It will survive. There might be some residual sud action still in the machine. And yes, absolute shite for washing the dishes. Now you know.
This happened back home a couple of times. Great fun, but don't eat the suds.

just squeeze a few lemons in there next time it happens, you fancy feckers with your washing up machine.

I dunno, I made the whole thing up. Ripped it off from some British sitcom.:p I'd never be stupid enough to try a stunt like that.

you want sudsy fun? Drop a couple of pellets of dry ice in a beaker of water/ washing up liquid!
Rivals the best of the special effects department of Dr. Who-era BBC.

Anyone ever see "Adventures of a Window Cleaner"? They show it on Bravo

If its from the 70ties and involves a woman getting her toe stuck in the tap in order to get the cleaner boy into the bath with her, I seen it when I was 10 on Bravo.
