Something I forgot about from my trip to the doctor yesterday - she had a promo box of tissues (why tissues I have no idea) from some drug company flogging a treatment for Restless Leg Syndrome. I first heard of this condition when i saw an ad for it on American TV & thought it was the funniest thing ever, but now the epidemic has spread here too?

I think you're confusing restless leg syndrome with general leg shaking. I have both. The latter is a more common thing and is pretty harmless. Just occasionally annoying for other people.
