snow (1 Viewer)

this cold front coming across the country now looks mad. Apparently, even though its kind of reasonably ok enough out there now, once this front passes it will be cold as fuck after. So, while its 11 degrees in Dublin now, they expect it'll be as low as 4 degrees by late afternoon.

I hope you all brought the winter jackets with yis.

its the fuckin apocalyse out there.

can hardly see the cars in the car park the rain is so heavy here

and its now 4 degrees at knock airport, 10 at Dublin.

this is end of the world shit

I've just been complaining about it in the complaints thread. i was running through it and could hardly see where i was going

I'm gonna presume you've seen the graph of the temp drop?

Was maddness.

oh yea, the other day it was nuts. Half the country was 3/4 degrees while the other half was 13/14 and the warm half plummetted as that cold front crossed the country.

I cycled home from work that day and it was about 4 degrees here in Fairview. When I got home (knocklyon), it was about 10/11 degrees so I obviously crossed some dividing point along the ways. I went from being absolute freezing in town to overheating, all in the space of 10 miles.

But, about half an hour later it was baltic in k'lyon too.

Apparently the weather is to return to normal laters. Its cold now but the rain will sweep in in the afternoon and the day will heat back up to a poxy 10-13 degrees.

Plus the donegal postman is saying no mad snow this year, and he should know.

By "they" I assume you are referring to the elements, which we all know scutterweather is so in tune with.

exactly. The 'elements' from the other side. The signals are still conflicting a little. Some saying yay, some nay, the nay's shouting slightly louder.

In other news I got snowed on up at Sally Gap today on my bike. It was cold.

I would both welcome and be seriously inconvenienced by, snow.

I'd be delighted to be snowed in and left to write for a jolly extended period.

But I would be unable to visit the people I need to see to remain truly content.

Its a pickle.

Its fucking freezing out today.Wrap up warm folks if you have to go sign on or anything.
