Slint "working on new material" (1 Viewer)

Same here. Vicar St could have been louder though.

yea. I think that's there whole thing.i read that they used to practise in this dark shed with all the lights out, and play really fuckin loud and work out their songs to a T.

and that's exactly how they play live aswell.a few people were complaining that it was "exactly like the record" or "like a funeral" but what were they expecting? Spiderland was the beginnings of math-rock, but with really dark, moody songs. The gigs were exactly what you'd expect

What would new Slint material sound like in 2007 given the evolution of the 'post-rock genre' they practically started?

;)

I'll tell ya what, Mogwai's drummer is pretty shite. A proper Larry Mullen he is.

I gave a fuck when he destroyed their set at ATP a couple of years ago. Sometimes he gets away with it, but when he's off-form he's terrible.

Ah yeah, I've been at some great Mogwai gigs, but it always niggles me.

I wouldnt be interested in them at all really, bands getting back together + recording sucks most of the time,i they made some nice albums, played a few shows for those that didnt see em etc..meh.
