there are many ways to be into Hare Krishna
i feel that Ray and gang were preaching/practicing/interpreting it as just another form of christianity. maybe they were all christians so long that they brought that kind of worship over?

PS: Krishna didnt actually have blue skin, he was actually a very dark skinned indian man, artists simply added that colorization (i guess to identify his speciality.) and i think he wasnt exactly a "god" either, but rather a spiritually enlightened individual (if you believe in that).
