I saw Ricky Gervais in the O2. The venue wasn't to blame for any of the gripes I had.

Gripes
1: jokes I'd heard before in a supposedly new show.
2. some bint in my eyeline that laughed and clapped like a simpleton at every sentence. Made my blood boil.


The sound and the view were very good but I was very close to the front, I dunno what it would be like further back.

read a few reviews of his London gig in the O2 from last year when I was thinking about heading to see him earlier in the week. Apparently he played in a crappy old comedy club in Piccadilly Circus a few nights before the main event. just stick the head into a few comedy clubs the few nights leading up to it and you'll be grand. it'll be just like the start of an episode of Seinfeld. Sorted.
