I think Gaffney was a bit pissed off with everyone shouting for more Bakesale songs towards the end. Glad they fitted in 'careful' and 'got it' though. they seemed a bit disdainful of the "hits", the versions of 'Soul and Fire' and 'Gimme Indie Rock' were pretty shit. Overall it was a class gig though. Belted out the tunes, plenty of banter, plenty of variety, good sound, good wholesome stuff!

Not a setlist, but looking down thru their discography, these are the songs that I remember them playing (I'm missing loads here - probably a lot more Eric songs that I don't associate with the song titles so easily).

It's So Hard to Fall in Love
Brand New Love
Moldy Bread
The Freed Pig
Scars, Four Eyes
Gimme Indie Rock
Cry Sis
Soul and Fire
Two Years Two Days
Happily Divided?
Sister (uh, may have been Sixteen. Should really root out the album to check)
Cliche
Careful
Give Up
Too Pure
I Smell a Rat (they did play this, didn't they?)

Anyone else remember any?

They played Mean Distance and New Worship as well - I've stuck a few crummy vids up here:

thanks guys

start song / end song?

first song was Good Things, Proud Man.
last song was Gimme Indie Rock.

contrary to posts above, they didn't do Sister or I Smell A Rat (that was one Bob Fay usedta do!) and i'm pretty sure they didn't do Cry Sis either.

they did do Elixir is Zog though.

Yup - no Sister. Sixteen was good though. Homemade Bone too.

No Skull or Beauty of the Ride but still great great night.

First song was New Worship, actually Ro. :)

Whoever thought they did I smell a rat, it was possibly God Told Me that you mistook it for.

I do believe they played Mystery Man as well. That's the one the starts off all smelly rock and then goes a bit rockabilly, right?
