Is the Guardian's editorial stance pro-independence?

I've read a few news pieces, rather than editorial ones from it and the tone tends to be a little "it'll be all doom and gloom if it happens."

I'm referring more to the actual stance of the newspaper itself.

Y'know, like most news stories in the paper, and my sense of it is that the quotes & reaction tend to be a bit more negative about a yes vote.

Would it be fair to say that reflects editorial policy? There's plenty of people to talk to about every story, and they chose which ones to put in. Genuinely don't know.

Just read that Salmond said over the weekend that even if they vote yes they're keeping the queen (keeping the pound, keeping the NHS, keeping the Beeb, keeping the queen). Their choice etc, but if they're making a change then why persist with one of the silly ways to appoint a head of state.
