Nice moment from EP last week. At Simple Minds there was a lad near the front wearing a Celtic jersey who was flying a Scotland flag with the word 'YES' printed across it. Jim Kerr didn't make any reference to it at all.

Later on at Mogwai, the one with the mic say something along the lines of;

"Serious question, there was a guy at Simple Minds earlier wearing a Celtic jersey and flying a Scotland 'YES' flag. If that guy isn't here right now then we're clearly doing something wrong'

at which point the flag was produced and the lads in the band all started cheering and pumping their fists.

My brother-in-law has a huge bugbear with this.
"Why won't the BBC do our weather?" like it's discriminatory.
It's not their remit. They don't have the monitoring.
We have RTE for our weather. I note that the BBC also don't do the weather for Normandy, Holland and Belgium.
Sorry, I'm saying to you what I never get to say to him.

Anyway, Scotland don't need the weather, it's always sunny up there as far as I can tell from the telly.

They have approximately zero in the Republic as far as I know.
