Recommend me some Ambient/soundscapes (1 Viewer)

The new Bohren & Der Club of Gore album 'Dolores' is AMAZING! Really beautiful record.

They are a hardcore band who replaced a guitarist with a saxophonist and just down tuned down everything and slowed it right down.
I read someone somewhere calling it 'Horror Jazz'...but its much more sparse and minimal than that suggests.

'Black Earth' is good too.

Dont know if they were mentioned on here but 'Supersilent' are pretty ace too. I caught them at ATP a few years back...amazing show.

All you need is one of these bad bhoys...

It may only have 9 tracks, but it seems to last forever !

A few not mentioned already, although I may have missed them (that said, you cannae go wrong with Windy & Carl, The Dead Texan, Stars of the Lid, Labradford, Pan American):

Steve Roach - Quiet Music, Structures from Silence (soothing ambient stuff)
Eluvium - Lambent Material, Talk Amongst the Trees (a little more immediate, more guitar/effects driven)
Marconi Union - Distance (more electronic)
Max Richter - The Blue Notebooks (more classical)
