i do love a bit of Earth and will also say Stars of the Lid as well.

I'm currently obsessed with a lad called Machinefabriek. Real nice, warm, static laced sweeps to bass loaded drones. The guy covers the lot and he excells at it.
His releases so far this year are somewhere in the double digits. To recommend one in particular I would say
"Music for Intermittent Movements: Soundtracks for Films By John...."

Can never remember the surname at the end. It's not important though.

Wot jimmybreeze said.

Also, Susumu Yokota - Sakura is REALLY REALLY nice. You're like "there's not much happening here....but..... I'm suddenly...really rather relaxed."

There was some German group from the 70's whose album I had a few years ago but I can't remember their name. It was marvellous, best kind of this type of music I've ever heard.
