Made the trek out to that new shop in arklow. Nice set up, considering its only open a week, good selection of vinyl, CDs and books. Very spacious.

Definitely worth a look vinyl heads.

Most LPs were €10 or less. I got those 4 for €25. (he gave me a discount)

I'm always a bit wary buying second hand vinyl, hidden scratches or excessive surface noise really annoys me.

The 4 I got (after a bit of cleaning) all sound great.

I was pretty pleased alright. The 3 Mama's Boys 7"s were ones I didn't have. I do need a sleeve for Telephone Teaser though. The Mama's Boys lp,was a Pussy press,as opposed to the Spartan one I already had. So now there is only a few Mama's Boys records I really want to find.
Green Metal was on Crashed,the one I had was on Metal Masters.
But the real "score" arguably,was the Maiden singles. Irish pressings are quite sought after.

I'm quite a sucker for Irish pressings,although I don't seek them out.

The whole lot cost me 40euro. -

What's the b-side of Telephone Teaser? Didn't know there was a pussy issue of Turn it up, how does it differ from the Spartan one?

Hell Comes To Your House is a great compilation too.
My brother got that when it first came out. That was the first time I heard Metallica, I distinctly remember it. He got Fistfull Of Metal the same day so the Deathrider wasn't such a surprise.

Telephone Teaser/Shale My Bones. I really want the High Energy weekend and Rollin On 7"s,and then there's one or two more like In The Heat Of The Night.

The Pussy Turn It Up is exactly the same as the Spartan one,just different labels.But I suppose that makes it an Irish press.
I had no idea there was a Mama's Boys book. Need to find that for sure.

What's mislabeled on Flight of Icarus? It all looks ok to me.

The Flight Of Icarus b-side says Sun and Steel but plays Cross Eyes Mary (I think).
The book is called Runaway Dreams. I bought it at a Pat McManus gig last year, great read. I gave it to my brother who brought it to Toronto, other wise I'd pass it onto you.
