donnie and joe emerson - dreamin' wild. rereleased for 1st time by light in the attic. made by a couple of teenage brothers in 1979. father funded the buying of their studio/equipment/ releasing the LP at the time by selling shitloads of acres of his land in washington state. really like this, slow pop songs. with what seems like inadvertent psychy undertones

this has been on my list of Lps to buy for years but its pretty pricey. finally bought it. after one listen, little underwhelming. been listening to a good lot of ambient stuff over past few years. this isn't as good as i'd hoped. i will give it many spins to try and impress nonetheless.

monoton - monotonprodukt 07. dark, ambient, cosmic techno from the early 80s. or so is what i gathered from the review i read online. waiting for it to be delivered.

lush minimal techno from some danish lad (think hes danish anyway). from what I heard on souncloud i liked very much. also, in the post

The book is called Runaway Dreams. I bought it at a Pat McManus gig last year, great read. I gave it to my brother who brought it to Toronto, other wise I'd pass it onto you.

bought a lot of stuff over the past month but Container by Lackluster is currently playing in the background. LP from 2000. never heard of him until Donal Dineen's 2XFM show last sunday. Really sweet melodic electronic album. bought from discogs for 11 euro incl. p&p. great album. will definitely be checking out more of his stuff. some dude from finland. Hope Dineen gets a regular 5 day a week slot somewhere soon. Hugely missed but great to have back through some medium (be it only a couple of hours a week) nonetheless.
