Annoyingly I had to pack away my LP player this evening as we're getting a spot of building work done so won't be able to listen to most of this for over a week.

Picked up Richard Hawley's True Love's Gutter in Oxfam at the weekend. Will this be the start of a beautiful friendship? Loads of mates go mad for this guy - I've only ever heard his first album which is so-so. On first listen this one sounds pretty good.

is jeph still engaged in musical frottage?

Got that in the post today from him so actually I had a copy of a compilation 2lp7" he is on for sale on discogs and ended up trading with him because the label never sent him a copy.
It's mostly recent enough stuff I think the lp is just from last year and there's a cdr aswell. Not to often I get post Arizona !

i used to get his releases from anomalous mail order. the animist quartets cdr on alluvial is one of my favourites.

I only know him from the "an uncommon nature" lp really which is great. Probably I have just one or two other things from Anomalous.

Nabbed an original copy of this great record, all songs written and produced by Swamp Dogg, the same year as he released Total Destruction to Your Mind.

Brainticket - Cottonwoodhill CD
Brainticket - Psychonaut CD
Brainticket - Celestial ocean CD
Legend of a mind boxset Decca underground anthology CD
Gong - Angels egg CD

Cottonwood Hill is good in small doses, excuse the pun.

Great pre-Too Rye Aye singles and B-Sides comp. Worth it for Soul Finger alone.

Brilliant, obviously.
