Yeh just listened to Side 1 so far; it's that Back On Vinyl series. Although the centre hole wasn't big enough to fit on my turntable at first so I had to take the scissors to it! Grand now though.
Ugh, I hate that. I don't know why they use that size hole in releases (apparently there are two standard sizes for the centre hole on records but I've never seen a record player that advertises itself as having the smaller diameter spindle).

That was the first time I've had it happen; easily resolved but annoying when you've just bought a brand new lp!

Fat Cat did it in the early 00s a lot, I remember having to shave the centre hole of a Sigur Rós album with a stanley knife to get it to fit on my turntable.

Traded in a bunch of records and 7" singles in Freebird today in exchange for:
John Coltrane/Alice Colrane Cosmic Music LP
A Winged Victory for the Sullen Iris LP
Iggy Pop The Idiot LP
Suzanne Robinson Everybody Knows CD

I'm all about getting rid of the fat from record collection and turning it into muscle. Loads of stuff I bought throughout the years and never listen to so off it goes. Same with books, my shelves are now starting to really reflect my interests now that most of the guff is gone.

Not looked in this thread in a while, lots of good purchases!

@Benny Cake, what's that one above the Circle album with the leaves on the cover?
