..on the gikna one..comes from people who keep pigeons.The sort of wild scaldy looking pigeons are called giknas, and if you were breeding them and had one that looks kinda badly marked it was called a gikna and not worth keeping.

For some reason most of the old insults I can remember were ways of describing ugly girls:

wagon, (already mentioned), boot, dog, weapon.

Another good one when someone is trying to dig themselves out of a hole after making a cockup of some sort and saying, "but...but I thought that, I thought......"

"Ah, ya pissed in the bed and thought you were sweatin!"

Does anyone still say that? Haven't heard it in years......
