It varies a lot depending on the iso, I whack it up to 1600 or 3200 if I want to get the clouds without any motion blur.
how do you avoid the noise problem at such a high ISO? any examples?

ISO 3200, 24mm f4 for 3 seconds
Day was bright enough. 11am about two weeks agofor such a high ISO the noise isn't bad there, or am i wrong? what kind of light were you working in there? daytime,dusk? i suppose that can affect it. nice shot.
