I need a raincoat that:
a) is waterproof
b) is light
c) can be folded away easily
d) is cheap

I bought a Mac in a Sac before and it was shit.

Suggestions?

They saw us through the 80s, I think it's time for a comeback

mine had the cover of Live After Death painted (badly) on the back

surely they've never been away Shirley?

I still wear mine from time to time

Get one that you can breath in - otherwise you'd end up like a slice of shaw's ham.

Depends what you mean by cheap - Marks do one for about €70 I think. If you're talking about €30 or something, then try penny's as sweett-o suggests, although don't expect not to sweat.

A good raincoat is a good investment in this country where the rain always comes with wind so that umbrellas are rendered useless.

I have a big yellow raincoat which makes me feel like the maniac man in Last Action Hero.

I keep threatening to buy a "his and hers" matching wind cheater set for me and the missus

to signify to the world middle-age has been reached

at one point the rage in Norway was doing a stint on one of the North Sea Oil rigs, and when you were leaving robbing the massive jackets that they wore on them.

I wore one for a few weeks once. It was a bit like wearing a rucksack, only with out the storage space. However, it would keep you fucking TOTALLY DRY.

It would be pissed off about any rain the even considered wetting you. It was almost bullet proof.

And you wouldn't be hit by a car whilst wearing it either.

you need to spend money to get a raincoat that works. look in tk maxx and get something made with goretex and with the seams and zips covered.
