Why are psych vinyl re-issues so obscenely expensive these days?
Lazy Bones by Witch is $50, for a slab of vinyl. Frankly, I think Sunbeam and the like are taking the piss out of psych fans 'must-have' obsessiveness.

more turkish stuff from finders keepers (votels reissue label)

FKR011CD/LP SELDA
SELDA
The second release in our Turkish ANATOLIAN INVASION series

"REISSUE OF THE MONTH" OBSERVER MUSIC MONTHLY
"This one case where hearing is honestly believing" 5/5 RECORD COLLECTOR
"This record is absolutely bananas! Selda got me completely open on the fuzzed-out Turkish breaks. Finders Keepers is holding jewels, cop this joint by any means!" ANDRE TORRES (WAX POETICS)
Whether it's the haunting political balladry, monster beats or screaming saz, Selda! You're beautiful when you're angry." GRUFF RHYS (SUPER FURRY ANIMALS)
"Her words and voice have left me stunned each and every time, the most beautiful poetry delivered with compelling energy." EROL ALKAN

I love that Selda record, but I nearly always end up getting a kebab after sticking it on which is not to good.

A couple more gems

that's way too high.
I'd either a) hang on for an original or b) buy the CD

a reissue is a reissue - whether it's CD or vinyl.

Don't be tempted by 'Anywhere' .... the cover promises much with its nudie Japanese on hogs but it's pretty much all ropey cover versions. 'Satori' is light years ahead.
wish i remember seeing this a year or 2 ago. picked up 'anywhere' around then. you are spot on. what a shit album! "there is a house in new or-reans, they call is the lising sun"ugh huh huh huh. skipping through this thread its amazing how many albums i've come across/been recommended in the passed couple of years. should have just stuck to this thread
