Does the PS3 have a big power-brick attached to it?
Also, I remember people saying that they had trouble getting it to sync up with their tvs at launch. You had to turn everything on in a certain order or summat? Those problems gone away/ever existed in the first place?

It just uses a kettle lead. I never had a problem connecting it to my telly.

So I turn on my PS3 for a quick game, and there is yet ANOTHER system update, that no doubt will take an hour to come down. And will make no diffenece to the console.

I fucking hate Sony.

Well, I got a PS3. I didn't personally have to pay a penny for various reasons including trading in Wii and a few other things happening. Long dull story.

Anyway, Xtravision are selling PS3 with FIFA 09, Little Big Planet, Iron Man on Blu Ray and €30 worth of vouchers (including 12 BluRay rentals for €3 each) for a total of €419.

It's just uploading an update now.

Was surprised that there was no HDMI cable with it.

Also surprised by how goddamned ugly it is.

Still, I picked up Drake's Fortune for €15 so will try that first.

Well my initial impression of Resistance 2 is that it's a bit better than the first, but it's been fairly bland so far.
