Pro Evolution Soccer 5 (2 Viewers)

Like I said, specs are not the problem. He's got a P4 3ghz and a 256mb graphics card i think.. it wasn't slow like a 386 slow, just kinda sluggish and unresponsive in a "there's something odd going on here" way. Are there any know issues with particular hardware?

Yeah I've scored some sweet free kicks too, free kicks are sooooo much better than in Pro Evo 4, I can score from just outside the box, from middle range, and from long range, it's great.

A mate of mine was on the verge of hitting me once after I cracked in an outswinging 38-yarder with Roberto Carlos against him, but that may have been the fact that I insisted on taunting him by replaying it about 10 times.

I'm lethal with Pirlo from inside 25 yards too, it's great becasue frees in PES4 were so remarkably shit.

I've seen a couple of similar strikes with Bobby C. Outside of the boot seems to be the way to go. It's most great because my regular opponents were at the stage of making a joke.. "careful now, Pete's gonna score a free any year now etc. etc.", but now... I do!

I talk to my xbox, but it never talks back. So ronery.

I'm waiting for a max drive to arrive in the post, then I can load the option file I have on my PC that will correct all the kits and names, and that replaces the french teams with english championship teams. I hope they have made Danny Shittu suitably huge.

Max Drive arrived, option file works. So if anyone gets a max drive and needs the option file pm me and I'll pass it on.

Nah I've always just stuck with pro evo. I always thought pro evo was a later, tweaked version of winning eleven?

kind of.

every june or july a winning eleven would be released in japan. within a few days an english patched version would be available for download. then that game would be fiddled with and released in europe as pro ev 4 or 5 months later.

i've found that some winning elevens have been better than the tweaked version, some havent and some have been identical.

I just prefered them cos i was obsessed and wanted to get a new pro ev asap. whatever version is played first is often the one thats preferred.

you got a chipped ps2?

I have got Pro Evo 5 nailed down now. Won the D1 cup, in the Champions League final, and 5 points clear in the league with two games left. It helps that I have Van Basten and Romario up front I suppose, sue me.

Johnny C and I had the first inter-thumped Pro-Evo 5 session (as far as I know) last night. He kicked my ass with two wins and a draw (that I was winning until the 75th minute).
Great fun.

Great fun indeed! Just so you know, Wil, I couldn't hear ya down the old headset. I could see the icon flashing to indicate that you were speaking, but I could hear zip. So I don't know if you were saying things like "Oooh, nice pass, John" or "That goal was offside you fucking fat fucking fucker!"

I'm guessing little column A... little column B.

You be around for a kick about late tonight?

You know it! Fuck sake Avernus, get in the game will ya? Who cares if you abandon all your relationships and lose your job by spending 24/7 on Pro Evo? You know it makes sense.
