i'm having a remarkably similar time. fourth season, winning a good few games, then losing about five one nils on the bounce. very annoying a lot of the time, weaning just enough satisfaction out of playing to make me want to keep going.....got hold of the warriors recently and was shocked at being able to enjoy a computer game for the first time in ages.
I know what you mean. I had a long session on it on Sunday and was near to finally having enough of it, then picked it up monday and it was total football. I dunno, I think I need to play old and dudley at it, give them a sound beating, and then I'll be grand.

And yeah the warriors in enjoyable, shame it only takes a couple of days of serious play to complete it.

how comes horseface doesnt dive for penos in pro ev? those games makers and their lack of detail...:)

his shooting is unreal though.
did anyone get the eircom league option file some derry fan created?

The referee is ridiculous alright, the computer can just kick the shit out of you but if you touch it just once, free kick! I beat Inter 5-0 in the Champions League, alright so I bought Martins off them beforehand, but still, it was fucking sweet!

You guys.. i think there's a lot more x button free kicks in the middle third of the pitch, but hey.. that's football. Anyway, if you want you can just get goalside of the attacker, and he'll pass it sideways more often than not. Anyway, it's fine 'cause at least the CPU fouls in PES5, meaning I get the chance to blast in a 30 yard rocket every now and then.

freakishly gifted fabergas.

Im a relative newcomer to playing the masterleague on pro evo 4 and for some reason cesc fabergas had this incredible set of stats so i signed him up and now he's my key player........he's some freakish cross between gerrard and scholes in one.

does this kind of thing happen often with random young players or do just have to be on the lookout all the time?

annoying that he has to revert back to his normal stats when playing other people's mastereague teams though.

There's a prog available on the net that enables you to improve PES5 big time on the PC and Xbox. Go here to get it...

Seeing as this game is just a port of a PS2 game, it doesn't take advantage of the superior platforms it's also available on. But now thanks to this unofficial program you can adjust the level on detail on show during the game. So now the players look as good as they do during the action replays. My PC specs are "above average" at best, but the game looks the shit now. You get to turn the crowd on too (oo-er).

For those of you who don't have the latest version yet, the stands are empty during the game on most camera views cos Konami are kinda shit like that.

:(

Could be several reasons for that.

Most likely is that the graphic settings are turned up too high. Try lowering the resolution or perhaps the level of detail.

It could even be that you need to update the drivers for the video card?
