Speaking of Starbucks-I was in the Borders/Starbucks in Blanchardstown shopping centre

I ordered a coffee and as I sat down and pulled a book out of my bag I was suddenly struck with the same feeling I get when I smuggle a sandwich into a pub that serves food or taking Spar bought crips into the cinema. Flouting the " only food bought on the premesis may be consumed here" law!

In Borders, does the same apply to reading matter you bring in yourself?
