both lp's are superb
first one is 'this is a pinback'
2nd one is 'blue screen life'

very hard to find in dublin though sometimes the first one turns up in tower at an exorbitant price

best bet is http://www.normanrecords.com

i just searched amazon.co.uk - they list 3

Pinback
This Is A Pinback CD
Blue Screen Life

they all good? or are 2 the same?

but home taping is recording music...
but do you know if there's 3 albums or 2?

This is a Pinback CD might be the live gig one
maybe
I can't rememember what that's called. Oh - Live at Donny's Garage.
Hmm..
Or maybe it's just written on one of them ad they've gotten confused. Or maybe I'm confused. Yeah.

"This is a Pinback CD " is written on the Debut Pinback album.

well thank god. I was finding it difficult to fall asleep at my desk with that conundrum going through my mind. I must get some voices. Or maybe I have it.
Oh.

the first lp is sometimes referred to by both titles, just cos of different labels issuing it.

some voices is amazing. very different, me thinks, to both lp's. it can be purchased on 10" blue vinyl i think

v sad pinback story.
some girl just posted to their list that her friend had been murdered a couple of weeks ago, and at the funeral a tape of this persons favourite songs was played, one of which was loro. the girl had never heard of pinback before, but apparently the song completely connected and knocked her for 6. so she subscribed to the list to say thanks for the song, and to ask them to play it at a gig she will be at this weekend.

btw, there are plenty of pinback mp3's on the web
www.pinback.com
www.acefu.com (has messenger, which was only released on mp3
www.epitonic.com

thanks all for help. i hope one of these mp3s is that song the french guy played - it is so amazing...

that's some really good stuff... sparklehorsey? jane's addictioney?

you think? i find them kinda hard to describe to people. you should em live, amazing, couldn't be any different from the records. complete rock.

check out the thingy mp3's on epitonic too, learn where the corpo rob their tunes from.

thingy are amazing...crazy song structures, beautiful harmonies and some of the best lyrics i've heard

..."all that i want, is the total destruction of musical culture"...classic stuff.

MP3's you will find here

http://thingy.pilot.com/SongsAbout.html

and here

http://thingy.pilot.com/StaringContest.html

They have 2 albums (Songs About Angels, Evil, and Running Around on Fire & To the Innocent) as far as I know and a mini-ep type thing (Staring Contest) and are well worth getting.

do heavy vegetable have many albums?

i just have 'frisbee', but it's amazing.

apparantly the new thingy album might be released under a different name now.
