yeah, my mam and dad didn't go in for yokes that had to live in cages, plus we always had cats so yokes in cages would have lasted approx no minutes.

They always died in our house, I think Nightgoat lasted a year. Frank Black, Shopping, DOireann, and countless nameless others came to tragic ends on the Firhouse Road. I'd say they were running away from us. I'd say we wrecked their heads.

yeah, I'd never have a cat if I lived near a main road, it's just too tragic. One of my aunts had about 4 million cats get squashed because their house backed onto a really busy road. if the cat didn't come home for a few days they knew to go and scrape it up.

Hah. We had a huge evil black cat who used to appear in front of my friends from behind the nearest curtain with a thud, and stare at them (standard cat behaviour) Apparently this is not actually funny at 3AM when you're really stoned, so there would be frequent "episodes"

I know, but he's not a person who's going to get bullied in the playground so hoo kares. he's just called Mac - he's brown and fluffy, hence macintosh. Rowntree Macintosh. Scooter is orange and was named after Scooter in the muppet show, and Murphy is black and white and calling him Guinness was considered to be too 'obvious'. By my mother.

They rule their house, they all have their own chairs and sleep in separate rooms and no one is allowed to move them.

I wish I could say the same about himself.


We had two dogs growing up. Lucy and Dogeile. Dogeile died of a little heart attack last year and then like June Carter and Johnny Cash, Lucy died just a few months after of lonliness. It was tragic.
When Lucy was about 5 she had a litter of puppies. We had them for 3 months. Can you imagine the cuteness round our way....

johnny cash would be a class name for one of those black cats with a bit of white on the nose;

And he lives in Drumcondra and he owns a Ford Escort Mark III painted with the celtic badge all over it. I think he has been mentioned here before.

I always fantasised about getting a couple of rangers shirts and sticking them on the dogs as they were tied up outside shops.
