I guess none of you know him and I haven't been to mass in about 15 years, but this guy rocked. He was parish priest in Raheny/ Kilbarreck where I grew up. When our Granny was dying in 1994, he called around to say some prayers with her, but ditched that and started singing her old ballads instead. Molly Malone, Dublin in the Rare ol Times etc. We could hear him from downstairs. When I went in to investigate what was going on, he was holding her hand and singing away, and even though she was on her way out, you could tell she was loving it. She died a few hours later.
