I became a fan back when that Belle and Sebastian Fans Only dvd came out. Isobel Campbell did a cover in it and it made me go investigate. A French lad I used to work with would slag me for liking her. Said it was the type of music his granny would listen to. His granny has great taste in music tbh.

I usually have a day every summer where I listen to the Baby Pop album on repeat biking around like I'm still a young lad and life has possibilities

I'll have to get that B&S DVD. The bonus of it annoying John really adds value to it. jk

Three songs that absolutely everyone knows, more than most artists. I remember Salvation getting a lot of play when I was about 12 as well, a real 2TV classic. Linger was on my Leaving Cert music syllabus! Were any of their albums any good?

Between her and Sean Hughes it feels like a big chunk of Irish celebrities from the mid 90's have been taken away.
