There I've said it......

They have to be one of the worst bands I'veever seen,,,,,

I actually look like that avatar this morning!

now then gaz....you said that last night and now look at your head.....don't fuck with the pv crew man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm never going out again..thats it....I cant hack it...or maybe i need felcro soled shoes....and BETTER TASTE

Since we're giving opinions, just thought I might add my own to the pile..
Personally, I reckon PV have a great difference bout them as a band and in their sound.
Like its not the same old punk overkilled musical and lyrical themes.

Like old tracks like Politicians, Outside In among others have a great sound to them.
Gets regular spins from me and my personal favourite, 40 Shades of Ganggreen.
Tracks like Missing In Action, Braindance, Albert Fish, 40 shades and forever winter show the great variety a band can have.

Strobelight and Torture is a great reminder too that in a world where there are many bland, generic "punk" bands in all but principles, there are still bands out there that carry a vital message and meaning.

Live, my opinion is they're nothing short of an experience.
They are and always have been a great and important band to the development of punk in our wee little island.

Nuff said :D

i like Paranoid visions,I LOVE them live..I FUCKING DISLIKE STROBELIGHT AND TORTURE THOUGH

I dont see the point in rocking to such a negative theme...its bullshit....I WANT TO ROCK TO HAPPY SHIT...

FUCK REALITY..THATS WHY WE'RE IN POP BANDS!Well that and the birds..but d'you get me?

Plus...they release too many records..their shit will never sell for $500 on ebay.........I'm not saying mine will either...but it will....

I hear what you're saying man...Strobelight and Torture is a good example of a negative reality in the world.
But there are positive realities in the world also, despite them being few and far between in these times.

In recessionary times like these the large amount of releases can be a bitch on the pocket, but in my own experience, when you write a large amount of songs, you just wanna get them out there!

Still, I hear your point.

YOU ARE BENT

What I meant in my previous post though was that despite S&T having a negative theme, and punk being a channel to depict reality, there is a lot more than just a negative reality.
Punk isn't all negative and shit is my point. There's a lot more than just blatant harsh looks on society to punk.

in response to the thing about a load of releases, my point is that when you write a lot of songs, as the amount of releases attest, sometimes you just wanna get your new material out there.
Only PV can actually answer that, but thats my opinion.

And for the record, if I'm a "bleedin student fuggin wanker" for responding to a previous post, so be it, couldn't care less :)

Chris.

no amount of record sales can jusitfy Paranoid visions
