It's a solid series.. the amazing versatility of the main actress Tatiana Maslany is definitely the main reason to see it. I thought it had the same problem that most of these high-concept shows have in that it starts off with a plausible enough feel but things become a bit wacky and convoluted quite quickly. That said I will probably watch the 2nd season when that appears. It's filmed very close to where I live in Toronto (though they barely refer to the location, apparently it's more commercial for Canadian productions to pretend they're not in Canada) so it was fun spotting familiar locations.

Yeah, they never mention what country they're in. It's always just "North America"

I could live without the Mrs. Doubtfire elements, but I am enjoying this.

How is Jim's Restaurant in Leslieville?

Never been in there, but having googled it that's where the Sarah / Helena meeting takes place right? The apartment where Beth lives is down near the Rogers Center off Spadina and the one they use for Felix' place is on Queen St West (the exterior shots anyway).. There are a few amusing genuine Toronto-isms in it, like Felix calling Scarborough 'Scarberia'.
