Can anyone reccommend a really good Orchestral VST that covers all of the instruments in the orchestra and has good expression / timbre etc. Vienna is out because of the expense (and it means nothing to meeeee). I don't know anyone with Garritan, but if any of you good people have something similar and would be willing to share your views, I'd be most grateful.

Cheers

Colin

I have it but not installed on this pc. It's unbelievable. Used to be what all musos aspired to but wouldn't fork out for. I might install it on the new pc and see how I get on. Really easy to use. But I think I'll have a look for the Classik version first.

I've been using EMU's Virtuoso x for the last while but I think that only works on EMU software. Emulator X and the like.
