mouth for war kicks ass.

i saw pantera support megadeth in 92 and they opened with that. easily the best live metal experience of my life.

Slaughtered off Far Beyond Driven is a great track too.

Wanted to see Pantera at Tattoo the Planet. They didn't show up. That Megadeth/Pantera show must've been awesome, pity I was only 9

Great riff that,

Anything off "Rust in Peace" or "Peace Sells..." is also good

I am the man, by anthrax.

Come people, it's no longer the middle ages.

Metal formula: Mid tempo chugging tunes, speed up for solo, fast songs. slow down for middle 8 and solo.

Walk by Pantera

though the only 'Metal' Song I could ever really love is Cemetary Gates, slowly over the top emo acoustic bit at the begining, into chugging riff, into speeding solo, totally over long, totally pompous, tottally metal

Tracklisting:
A Napalm Death You Suffer (0:01)
B Electro Hippies Mega Armageddon Death Pt. 3 (0:01)

hmmm

black sabbath-into the void
motorhead-killed by death
bathory-fine day to die
and clearly angel of death

but theres lots of different metal....
are we just talking about true heavy fucking metal here?
or metal?

erm, 1 song people.

I'm reminded of the line
"Black Sabbath by Black Sabbath begins, ends and defines Metal. Everything else is pure interpretation."

However if a 16 year old asked me what Metal was I'd still put on Creeping Death.

any track off reign in blood
any track off kill 'em all
any track off master of reality
any track off burn my eyes
any track off arise or chaos a.d.

I've never seen a support band blow away the headliners as much as Pantera opening for Megadeth. It was quite astounding.
yeah totally. i'll never forget it. megadeth were good though too. remember this:

"hey dublinnn....I dont mean to blow hot smoke up your ass but...this is the best fuckin show of the tour!!!"

nah, megadeth were quite bad that night. Eg: mustaine had to stand in a certain spot on the stage during a certain solo so that fake lightning could light him up... etc. Didn't help that the album they were promoting was poor. I've seen them better. Like the time before that in the point with alice in chains (who I missed, booo) and the Almighty (who i saw, booooo).

i quite liked countdown to extinction. skin o my teeth, foreclosure of a dream and ashes in your mouth were good tracks. way better than so far so good so what.

nowhere near rust in peace and peace sells obviously. youthanasia was a disgrace. that was when i wrote them off.
