We have the basic one which was 1 mb at the time but they said they it would be upgraded to 3 mb.

Haven't downloaded anything in ages but the browsing speed is quite good.

not an ntl question but ive an old belkin router im trying to connect to the scientific atlanta modem.
routers asking me for a network key password. is there anyway or reseting the router so i can set my own password?

by wifi thing do you mean the USB things you plug into your computer to connect to the wifi? could that be responsible for a seemingly shite connection? whats wrong with not changing your network name?

they used to have a form at http://www.upc.ie/about_us/Speed_Changes/ where you'd agree to a new 12 month contract to get the free upgrade.
