I listened to that new Isis album. Not great on first impression. No new ideas or sounds really. Or new melodies even!

Just listened to Rules, die neu recordessen fram Ze Whitest Boy Alive. It's fucking brilliant, as to be expected. They've added a keyboard and a few bleeps. Sounds a bit more like Fred Falke's remixes, but not really. Definitely recommend.

i've been getting my rocks off to drum eyes. d.j. scotch egg's band. saw them at a wee festival on sunday and they were savage. leagues better than all the other tuneless, shouty, ironic british post-punk bands on the same bill

Yeah I know but I mean that in Deerhoof he also plays with a drummer that uses a greatly stripped down kit. He'd neve last in journey or rush or even cream
