If it is true (which I very much doubt) it will prolly end up like last year with all the good bands playing at the same time on different tents...

I dont think I could handle runnig out half way through Bjork to catch the last few songs by Sonic Youth...

That was the worst thing about last years festival

so the worst thing about a festival is deciding to watch either bjork or sonic youth.

come on dude

thats a pretty weak complaint.

it depends on the lineup but IF MBV were playing i would happily forego seeing some of teh other bands in order to see their full set....

I dont think I'd spend up to 200 brick just to see sonic youth and bjork at a festival.

And its not exactly like either act are going to be at either end of the bill. When / if they get announced you can be pretty sure both acts will be headlining or close to headlining whichever stage they play.

There isnt exactly much of a way around clashing bands.

Although staggering stage times would be a good idea.

I have just had it confirmed by the Hot Dog vendor that My Little Funhouse are definitely reforming for electric picnic!

A mate of mine does the ice-cream and another does smoothies, should I get in contact and ask them?

If you read my post properly, that was not what my compaint was.

My hope is of this years festival, that the acts that I go to see will have their times staggared a bit more. Because, last year, I saw mostly partial sets of the acts that I went to see.

I can vouch for this

seeing bits of SFA, DJ Shadow, Yo La Tengo, SFA bingo, New Order - nothing complete.

while desperately seeking toilet roll.

This could actually be happening, y'know.

Someone somewhere said they met Colm O Ciosoig in SF and he said a tour is on.

*DUCKS*
