It was. I saw them at Sunstroke 95 with Soundgarden and White Zombie. Grand gig altogether, so it was.

they still sound deadly - think they broke up for a while but they released 'Since We've Become Translucent' a coupla years ago. cool album, no great difference from the old stuff (apart from a horn section on some songs).

- hug yourself, like it's really cold and no-one understands your pain (check patty schemel's take on it here):

- hair (unwashed):

- stand at several distances from the camera at once (drummer at very back, naturally):

- be strung out on smack at the photoshoot:

- use kerazzy colour-balancing (remember, this was around the time of photoshop 2):
