Anyone else heard Mountains' new album "Choral"? Favourite album of the year so far for me- a bit like J Spaceman, Mogwai and Fripp/Eno on one album.

Haven't heard this one yet, but the Koen Holtkamp solo album Field Rituals was one of my favourites of last year...

Yeah I think it's really good too. Love the pedal steel drifting in and out of it.

Thirded! There stuff is blowing me away at the moment. Just listened to 'Under Pressure' their colab with aaron dilloway tonight and it's of a similar high standard. I really regret not heading across the water to see them in jan, hopefully they'll be back soon.
