I don't think I have ever been in a city which is so different when the sun shines. Last week London was like living in a grim eastern bloc communist country. The sun came out yesterday and all of a sudden it's a completely different place.

Dubliners complain about the winter but to be fair Dublin remains the same place at heart all year round. The only difference is that you can drink a can in the pav when the sun shines or go to the beach once maybe.

Count your blessings Dublin. Trust me it could be an awful lot worse.


The sun is out right now and as such London is bearable. Minor pleasure alright.

If I'd bet the maximum for one of my goliaths (58c) and they had all come it I'd have won 100K, that would have been a serious dent to PP on something so silly.
